As a Registered Acupuncturist, I practise traditional acupuncture grounded in meridian theory (循经), a holistic view of the body (整体观), and the principle of treating both root and branch (标本兼治) — not just where it hurts, but why it hurts.

Treatments use fine, sterile, single-use needles with a gentle technique, in a calm and unhurried session. Most people are surprised by how little they feel — many find it deeply relaxing.

What to expect

Before: have a light meal 1–2 hours ahead — never come on an empty stomach (it can cause dizziness). Tell me if you are pregnant, take blood thinners, or have clotting or cardiovascular conditions
During: you'll rest comfortably while the needles do their work — most sessions feel deeply relaxing
After: drink warm water, keep warm, rest, and avoid strenuous exercise or alcohol for the day
Only sterile, single-use needles are ever used — safety is non-negotiable
